Lunch Period Sample Clauses

Lunch Period. Employees who work five (5) hours or more shall be granted a thirty (30) minute, duty-free, uninterrupted lunch period, which may or may not be during the normal lunch hours.

Lunch Period. 6.5.1 Any employee covered by this Agreement shall be entitled to an uninterrupted, unpaid lunch period after the employee has been on duty for five (5) hours. The length of time for such lunch period shall be for no longer than one (1) hour, or less than one-half (½) hour, and shall be scheduled for full-time employees at or about the midpoint of each work shift. 6.5.2 A full-time employee required to work during his or her lunch period shall receive pay at the rate of time and one-half (1 ½) the regular rate of pay during the normal lunch period.

Lunch Period. Employees shall have a scheduled duty-free lunch period of at least 30 uninterrupted minutes. They shall not be required to be available during this scheduled lunch period for supervision unless an emergency situation arises involving the safety of students.

Lunch Period. Lunch break shall be one-half (½) hour as scheduled and taken within one (1) hour of the mid-point of the normal hours of work. The lunch period will be measured from ceasing labour to commencement of labour and will be taken at a time mutually agreed by the Parties hereto. Should expediency require, the normal starting and quitting time and/or lunch period may be changed by mutual agreement of the Parties hereto.

Lunch Period. Full-time employees shall be provided a duty-free lunch period of at least thirty (30) minutes.

Lunch Period. All teachers shall be provided a duty-free lunch period of at least thirty (30) minutes.

Lunch Period. Employees scheduled to work seven to eight hours per day shall be provided an unpaid duty-free lunch period of at least thirty minutes. Employees scheduled to work less than seven hours per day may waive the unpaid duty-free lunch with approval of supervisor.

Lunch Period. Each Unit Member is entitled to a lunch period of no less than thirty (30) minutes which shall be uninterrupted and duty-free.

Lunch Period. All employees shall be granted an unpaid lunch period not less than thirty (30) minutes or more than sixty (60) minutes during each work shift. Any employee who is required by the Employer to perform job duties or remain available for work during their meal period shall be compensated for such time at their regular hourly rate of pay, either on a straight time or overtime basis, whichever is applicable. Whenever possible, the lunch period shall be scheduled at the middle of each shift. These lunch period requirements may be waived by agreement of the Employer, employee, and the Union.

Lunch Period. The lunch period shall normally be thirty (30) minutes, but a lunch period of up to sixty (60) minutes may be taken by the employee with prior notification to Management.
