Lunch Period Sample Clauses

Lunch PeriodEmployees who work five (5) hours or more shall be granted a thirty (30) minute, duty-free, uninterrupted lunch period, which may or may not be during the normal lunch hours.
Lunch Period. 6.5.1 Any employee covered by this Agreement shall be entitled to an uninterrupted, unpaid lunch period after the employee has been on duty for five (5) hours. The length of time for such lunch period shall be for no longer than one (1) hour, or less than one-half (½) hour, and shall be scheduled for full-time employees at or about the midpoint of each work shift. 6.5.2 A full-time employee required to work during his or her lunch period shall receive pay at the rate of time and one-half (1 ½) the regular rate of pay during the normal lunch period.
Lunch PeriodEmployees shall have a scheduled duty-free lunch period of at least 30 uninterrupted minutes. They shall not be required to be available during this scheduled lunch period for supervision unless an emergency situation arises involving the safety of students.
Lunch PeriodLunch break shall be one-half (½) hour as scheduled and taken within one (1) hour of the mid-point of the normal hours of work. The lunch period will be measured from ceasing labour to commencement of labour and will be taken at a time mutually agreed by the Parties hereto. Should expediency require, the normal starting and quitting time and/or lunch period may be changed by mutual agreement of the Parties hereto.

Whenever possible, the lunch period shall be scheduled at the middle of each shift. These lunch period requirements may be waived by agreement of the Employer, employee, and the Union.
Lunch Period. The lunch period shall normally be thirty (30) minutes, but a lunch period of up to sixty (60) minutes may be taken by the employee with prior notification to Management.
