Bank Holidays Sample Clauses

The bank-holidays clause defines how contractual obligations are affected when a due date falls on a recognized bank holiday. Typically, this clause stipulates that if a payment or action is scheduled for a bank holiday, it will instead be due on the next business day. For example, if a payment is due on a day when banks are closed, the obligation is automatically postponed to the following working day. This ensures that parties are not penalized for delays caused by official bank closures, providing clarity and predictability in the timing of contractual duties.
