BARGAINING COMMITTEE WAGES. Notwithstanding Article 3.04, the Employer agrees that in order to expedite the negotiation of a new Collective Agreement, when up to seven (7) bargaining unit employees are granted time off from their regularly scheduled shifts to attend meetings with the Employer for the purpose of the aforementioned negotiations, the Employer will pay such bargaining unit employees for such time off at their regular salary rate plus applicable shift differentials and the Employer will not ask the Union to reimburse the Employer for this expense. Such payment by the Employer as noted above shall not include overtime or non-scheduled hours.
