Common use of Bargaining Teams Clause in Contracts

Bargaining Teams. The bargaining will take place exclusively between the designated representatives of the Board and the Association. Bargaining will be comprised of not more than six (6) members for each team. Each team shall be allowed to bring two (2) resource persons in addition to the members of the team. Alternates may be designated; however, alternates will attend meetings only when serving in the place of a regular team member. All bargaining will take place exclusively between the designated representatives of the Board and the Association. Bargaining will be conducted in closed sessions. Representatives for the Board and for the Association shall have the authority to make proposals, counterproposals, to compromise, and to make agreements subject to the ratification by both parties.

Bargaining Association will be comprised of not more than six four (64) members and eight (8) alternates for each team. Each team shall be allowed to bring two (2) resource persons in addition to the members of the team. Alternates may be designated; however, alternates will attend meetings only when serving in the place of a regular team member. Each team will present the other with a letter stating the team members, alternates, and spokesperson for the team prior to June 1st, unless an extension is otherwise mutually agreed to by both parties. All bargaining will take place exclusively between the designated representatives of the Board and the Association. Bargaining will be conducted in closed sessions. Representatives for the Board and for the Association shall have the authority to make proposals, counterproposals, to compromise, and to make agreements subject to the ratification by both parties.
