Common use of Base Pay Schedule Clause in Contracts

Base Pay Schedule. Section 1.1. Bargaining Unit Employees as of December 31, 2017 will be paid a base wage in 2018, effective January 1, 2018, that is the base wage of the step in the pay grade for their position in the City of Xxxxxxxx Base Pay Schedule for January 1, 2018 through December 31, 2018 before such schedule was adjusted by 2.5% that is closest to, but not lower than, their base wage as of December 31, 2017. The Base Pay Schedule for 2019 will include a 2.5% increase and an increase of 3.00% for 2020.
