Common use of BASE REGULATIONS Clause in Contracts

BASE REGULATIONS. Prior to the commencement of work on any individual Task Order, the Contractor shall ensure that all Contractor and its subcontractor personnel become familiar with and comply with base regulations, security regulations, rules, orders or directives and keep within the limits of work and avenues of ingress and egress as directed. No employee, subcontractor or representative of the Contractor shall be admitted to the site of work unless the employee is a citizen of the United States. Or, if any person seeking access to a base is a citizen of another country, the Contractor shall ensure that his or her employment within the United States is legal and in accordance with individual activity security requirements and is specifically authorized admittance to the work site by the activity POC. The Contractor shall remove from the base, any individual whose continued employment is deemed by the activity POC to be contrary to the public interest or inconsistent with the best interests of National Security. The Contractor shall not enter restricted areas unless required to do so and cleared for such entry. Contractor material, tools, and equipment shall be conspicuously marked with Contractor identification.
