Level of Service 4.1.1 Each Member and New Market Entrant shall:
DEFINITION OF EMPLOYEE STATUS AND BENEFIT ENTITLEMENT For the purpose of this Article “regularly scheduled” means any combination of shifts scheduled in advance and issued by the Employer. (Reference Article 25.04 – Posting of Work Schedules) Employees at the commencement of their employment and at all times shall be kept advised by their Employer into which employee status they belong.
Calculation of Continuous Service For the purposes of this clause service shall be deemed to be continuous notwithstanding:
Determination of Service for Sick Leave with Pay Actual time worked and all leave with pay, except for educational leave, shall be included in determining the pro rata accrual of sick leave credits each month, provided that the employee works thirty-two (32) hours or more in that month.
Removal of Contractor Employee All employees of the Engineer assigned to this contract shall have such knowledge and experience as will enable them to perform the duties assigned to them. The State may instruct the Engineer to remove any employee from association with work authorized in this contract if, in the sole opinion of the State, the work of that employee does not comply with the terms of this contract or if the conduct of that employee becomes detrimental to the work.
Liability Calculation Method Per Claim Unless subject to a fixed dollar copayment, the calculation of Member liability on claims for Out-of-Area Covered Health Care Services processed through the BlueCard Program will be based on the lower of the provider’s billed charges or the negotiated price made available to Blue Shield by the Host Blue. Host Blues determine a negotiated price, which is reflected in the terms of each Host Blue’s health care provider contracts. The negotiated price made available to Blue Shield by the Host Blue may be represented by one of the following:
Work-related Injury/Disability An employee who receives an Employer Contribution and who is off the State payroll due to a work-related injury or a work-related disability remains eligible for an Employer Contribution as long as such an employee receives workers' compensation payments. If such employee ceases to receive workers' compensation payments for the injury or disability and is granted a medical leave under Article 10, he/she shall be eligible for an Employer contribution during that leave.
Campaign Contribution Restriction For all State contracts as defined in Conn. Gen. Stat. § 9- 612(g)(1) having a value in a calendar year of $50,000 or more or a combination or series of such agreements or contracts having a value of $100,000 or more, the authorized signatory to this Contract expressly acknowledges receipt of the State Elections Enforcement Commission's notice advising state contractors of state campaign contribution and solicitation prohibitions, and will inform its principals of the contents of the notice, as set forth in “Notice to Executive Branch State Contractors and Prospective State Contractors of Campaign Contribution and Solicitation Limitations,” attached as Exhibit C.
Transfer outside of the Bargaining Unit (a) A nurse who is transferred to a position outside of the bargaining unit for a period of not more than three (3) months, or is seconded to teach for an academic year shall not suffer any loss of seniority, service or benefits. A nurse who is transferred to a position outside of the bargaining unit for a period of more than three (3) months, but not more than one (1) year shall retain, but not accumulate, her or his seniority held at the time of the transfer. In the event the nurse is returned to a position in the bargaining unit, she or he shall be credited with seniority held at the time of transfer and resume accumulation from the date of her or his return to the bargaining unit. Calculation of Service 25.7 For purposes of calculating continuous service and active service, a year shall be deemed to consist of two hundred and sixty-one (261) working days.
