Beginning and Ending Dates. Representatives designated by the Association shall serve on the District’s Calendar Committee, which will meet annually to determine the following year’s academic calendar. If this academic calendar is not adopted by the Board of Trustees by (and including) the April regular Board meeting, the format used the prior year will be retained. (The term “format” denotes the general configuration of academic sessions. Retention of the same format does not preclude change of the dates of academic sessions, so long as the general configuration of academic sessions is retained.)
