Bereavement, Critical Illness and Funeral Leave. 14.1.1. A Leave necessitated by critical illness or death of a spouse, child, stepchild, parent, stepparent, guardian, parent-in-law, grandparent, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, brother, sister, grandchild, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, grandparent of spouse, and other close family member residing within the teacher's household shall be granted with full salary by the School Division as follows: 14.1.1.1. Up to and including five (5) teaching days for critical illness; critical illness leave granted under clause 14. 1.1.1 will terminate in the event of death. 14.1.1.2. The days of absence referred to in clause 14. 1.1.1 will be taken during the time of the actual occurrence of the critical illness.
