Common use of Bilingual and ESL Clause in Contracts

Bilingual and ESL. a. Teachers who possess a current Bilingual and/or ESL endorsement shall receive a differential of $500 effective at the beginning of the school year. b. In addition to receiving a differential of $500 for a current Bilingual and/or ESL endorsement, teachers who provide Bilingual and/or ESL services at the school shall receive a differential according to the compensation ladder based on endorsements and utilization. This includes: 1.) Teachers on waiver/teachers in a planned program of study leading to a TESOL and/or Bilingual endorsement. a.) Continue the tuition reimbursement program and publicize its availability. b.) Up to $500 reimbursement for textbook and/or testing fees.
