Common use of Billing Records and Exchange of Data Clause in Contracts

Billing Records and Exchange of Data. (a) The Parties will use commercially reasonable efforts to deliver each Transit Traffic call to the other Party’s network with SS7 Common Channel Interoffice Signaling (CCIS) and other appropriate TCAP messages in order to facilitate full interoperability and billing functions. The Parties agree to send all message indicators, including originating telephone number, local routing number and CIC. (b) Upon request and to the extent possible, CenturyLink agrees to provide CLEC information on Transit Traffic originated by a third party ILEC, LEC or CMRS provider. If CLEC requests such information and only to the extent CenturyLink incurs additional cost in providing this billing information, CLEC agrees to reimburse CenturyLink for its direct costs of providing this information. (c) To the extent that the industry adopts a standard record format for recording originating and/or terminating Transit Traffic calls, both Parties agree to comply with the industry-adopted format to exchange records.
