Board of Education’s General Covenant. The Board of Education further undertakes not to take or omit to take any action the taking or omission of which would cause the County to be in default in any manner under the Contract. In particular, the Board of Education covenants not to make any use of the Leased Property that would cause the County’s obligations to make installment payments coming due under the Contract to be “private activity bonds” within the meaning of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended. If the Board of Education takes or omits to take any such action, then the Board of Education shall proceed with all due diligence to take such action as may be necessary to cure such default.

  • BOARD OF EDUCATION RIGHTS A. The Board, on its own behalf and on behalf of the electors of the district, hereby retains and reserves unto itself, without limitation, all powers, rights, authority, duties, and responsibilities conferred upon and invested in it by the laws and the Constitution of the State of Michigan, and/or the management and control of school properties, facilities, grades and courses of instruction, materials used for instruction, and the selection, direction, transfer, promotion, demotion, discipline or dismissal of all personnel.

  • Level Three - Board of Education If the aggrieved person is not satisfied with the disposition of his grievance at Level Two, or if no decision has been rendered within ten (10) school days after the presentation of the grievance to the Superintendent, he may file the grievance in writing with the Association within five (5) school days after the decision of Level Two or ten (10) school days after the grievance was presented, whichever is sooner. Such collaboration will be as follows: (a) exchanges on science and technology as well as policies and laws relating the sustainable use of forest resources; (b) cooperation in training programs, internships, exchange of experts and projects advisory; (c) advice and technical assistance to public institutions and organizations of the Parties on sustainable use of forest resources and environmental protection; (d) facilitating forest policy dialogue and technical cooperation under the Network of Sustainable Forest Management and Forest Rehabilitation in Asia- Pacific Region, initiated at the 15th Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Meeting; (e) encouraging joint studies, working visits, exchange of experiences, among others; and (f) others activities mutually agreed.
