Board Support. The Board will provide for:
a. release time;
b. clerical supplies and support; and
c. orientation sessions; as considered appropriate by the Superintendent in consultation with the school steering committee whenever an assessment is required to be performed in a school.
Board Support. The Board will support and assist teachers with respect to the maintenance of control and discipline in the classroom. The Board or its designated representative will take reasonable steps to relieve and/or assist the teacher of responsibilities in respect to pupils who are disruptive in the classroom or repeatedly violate rules and regulations of the classroom.
Board Support i. The District’s School Safety Specialist or designee (also referred to as the liaison) will coordinate the SRO program for the school DISTRICT and will be the primary contact at the DISTRICT with the CCSO.
1. The liaison will provide student information, including but not limited to student disciplinary records, when requested by an SRO, in matters dealing with school safety concerns.
ii. The BOARD and Superintendent shall support the ability of the SRO to perform his/her duties by adequately supplying the following equipment:
1. A private, secure, air-conditioned, properly lighted, and centrally located office. Only the SRO and certain DISTRICT Administrators shall have access to this office.
2. A private desk telephone for confidential business purposes;
3. A computer with a direct printer for report writing and other job-related duties;
4. A desk or file cabinet with locking drawers for storage of confidential files;
5. Basic office supplies.
6. A secure gun locker for a CCSO-issued rifle, which shall not be left overnight in the school.
7. A DISTRICT-issued smart access card for ingress and egress into the school(s).
8. DISTRICT issued keys to the appropriate assigned school(s).
9. CCSO shall provide all other equipment normally issued to a Deputy Sheriff and all other equipment that is required to fulfill the SRO role.
iii. The BOARD and Superintendent shall provide:
1. A private, secure, air-conditioned, properly lighted, and centrally located regional office space for CCSO’s School Safety and Youth Department.
Board Support. At the 2022 Annual Meeting, the Company agrees to include the New Director in the slate of Board-nominated director candidates standing for election for a term expiring at the Company’s 2025 Annual Meeting of Shareholders, recommend, support and solicit proxies for the election of the New Director in the same manner as the Company recommends, supports and solicits proxies for the election of the Company’s other director nominees. The Company agrees that the New Director, upon his or her appointment to the Board shall receive (i) the same benefits of director and officer insurance as all other non-management directors on the Board, (ii) the same compensation for his or her service as a director as the compensation received by other non-management directors on the Board, and (iii) such other benefits, if any, on the same basis as all other non-management directors on the Board.
Board Support. At the Corporation’s 2023 Annual Meeting and 2025 Annual Meeting of Stockholders, the Corporation agrees to recommend, support and solicit proxies for the election of the New Director in the same manner as the Corporation recommends, supports and solicits proxies for the election of the Corporation’s other director nominees. The Corporation agrees that the New Director, upon his election to the Board shall receive (i) the same benefits of director and officer insurance as all other non-management directors on the Board, (ii) the same compensation for his service as a director as the compensation received by other non-management directors on the Board, and (iii) such other benefits on the same basis as all other non-management directors on the Board.
Board Support. The Board shall support employees in maintaining school discipline as outlined in the Head Start program's curriculum.
Board Support. Supports CEO in the participation, operations and administration of the Board by advising and informing CEO and interfacing between staff and CEO.
Board Support. The Board affirms its support of all employees in taking the necessary steps to enforce and implement all Board policies and regulations pertaining to control of student behavior. When an employee reports in writing a student for disruptive behavior or violations of school rules or policies, the administrator or supervisor responsible for such matters will investigate the situation and take the appropriate action. The employee shall be notified of the action taken. The supervisor will assist any employee in making the written report when requested.
