Policy Development. 2.2.1 LIDDA shall develop and implement policies to address the needs of the LSA in accordance with state and federal laws. The policies shall include consideration of public input, best value, and individual care issues.

Policy Development a. The Joint Board/Association Professional Development Committee shall be responsible for the development of recommendations to the Board for professional development policy. The Joint Committee shall consider recommendations of the Association's Professional Development Committee and the Board's Education Committee.
b. The Joint Board/Association Professional Development Committee shall be comprised of three Association appointees and three Board appointees.

Policy Development. Teachers are invited to review all proposed Board policies and provide input during their development. When a committee is formed to review a policy, appropriate, certified staff will be invited to be a part of the committee. The Superintendent will post on the District Website all proposed policies. A form will be available on the Website to provide feedback on proposed policy changes. A copy of each proposed policy will be sent to the president of the Association, for distribution to all teachers, to receive feedback on the policy.
Policy Development. The receiving area will provide information to assist administrative support areas in developing and implementing programs and policies related to programs and services provided by the receiving area that will benefit Texans receiving health and human services. As needed, in coordination with administrative support area staff, the receiving area will develop operational policies and procedures for staff to follow, including, as appropriate, providing policies that set expectations and define the roles and responsibilities between and among receiving area staff and administrative support area staff.
Policy Development. All access to ICT facilities, the internet and social media must be in support of educational activities and appropriate to the aims of the school. The aims of the E-safety policy and Acceptable Use Agreements are to ensure that all staff and students are clear about what constitutes appropriate use of ICT, the internet and social media in achieving E-safety and meeting GDPR regulations. All students and staff who access the internet or social media from the school site, or using NTS ICT resources when off site, must be aware that they are responsible for everything that takes place on their computers, tablets or mobile phones and that all activity, including use of the internet on computers, may be logged. The E-Safety policy has been developed with full consultation of staff, students, governors and parents. Consultation with the whole school community has taken place through a range of formal and informal meetings.The school will monitor the impact of the policy using: • Logs of reported incidents. • Pupil logs of internet sites visited. • Internal monitoring data for network activity. • Surveys / questionnaires of - students / pupils. - parents / carers. - staff.
