Common use of Booking Clause in Contracts

Booking. 2.1 Bookings cannot be accepted from: a. Persons under the age of 18 years b. Parties where the majority of members are less than 18 years (except supervised groups) 2.2 The number of persons occupying the property must not exceed the maximum 28 as stated in the current property description. The Owner can extend this number with discretion. In the event that a larger number is agreed this will be done in writing by the Owner. 2.3 The person who makes the booking (the Hirer) will be responsible for all persons included in the booking and should ensure that they are aware of the booking conditions. 2.4 The Owner reserves the right to decline any booking or refuse to hand over a key to a person who has not complied with the booking conditions. 2.5 All online bookings are provisional until confirmed in writing by The Owner. When you submit a booking via our online reservations system you will receive an automatically generated summary by email to the email address you provide in the booking form. This does not form a contract between us. A contract shall only arise when your booking is subsequently confirmed in writing via a letter of confirmation sent to you by post or email.
