Common use of Bricklayer-xxxxx Clause in Contracts

Bricklayer-xxxxx. a) The contribution paid by the employer for a journeyman and apprentice is as specified in Article 27.03, Subsection 1) plus $0.18 per hour worked and $0.01 of this amount shall be taken directly from the wage rate. This amount shall serve to create a complementary group insurance plan for this trade through the setting up of a supplemental insurance fund for such plan. b) The employee contribution deducted from the wages of a journeyman is 7.5% of his regular wage rate per hour worked plus compulsory annual vacation pay, statutory holiday pay and sick leave pay. This amount shall be increased to 8% as of May 1, 2022, 8.5% as of April 30, 2023 and 9% as of April 28, 2024. The employee contribution deducted from the wages of an apprentice is 7% of his regular wage rate per hour worked plus compulsory annual vacation pay, statutory holiday pay and sick leave pay. This amount shall be increased to 7.75% as of May 1, 2022, 8.25% as of April 30, 2023 and 9% as of April 28, 2024. This employee contribution shall include the employee contribution specified in the first paragraph of Article 27.03, Subsection B-2). Where applicable, the employee contribution as stipulated in the preceding paragraph shall be adjusted through the application of the second paragraph of Article 27.03, Subsection B-2).

This amount shall be increased to 6.2% as of April 3026, 2023 2015 and 96.5% as of April 28May 1, 20242016. This employee contribution shall include the employee contribution specified in the first paragraph of Article 27.03, Subsection B-22). Where applicable, the employee contribution as stipulated in the preceding paragraph shall be adjusted through the application of the second paragraph of Article 27.03, Subsection B-22).
