Browse Control. Livestock: Fencing is anticipated to be the primary strategy used to prevent livestock browsing of riparian habitat. Where installed, wildlife- friendly fencing will be established around the habitat to prevent browsing or mechanical damage to allow for establishment of vegetation. Common fence types likely to be used include moveable electric fence on lands where livestock are present seasonally, or semi-permanent t-posts and barbed wire fence where livestock are likely to be in the area for a longer duration.
