Common use of Building Information Model Clause in Contracts

Building Information Model. or BIM means a computable multi-dimensional representation of the physical and functional characteristics of the Projects’ facilities and their related life-cycle information, to be used as a repository of design and construction information for use by the Project Team during the design, bidding and construction phases of the Projects, and for the TFC’s use throughout the life-cycle of the facilities.

Building Information Model. or BIM means a computable multi-dimensional “BIM”): A digital representation of the physical and functional characteristics of a facility, which provides a reliable source of information upon which the Projects’ facilities Awarding Authority may rely upon to make decisions regarding the facility during and their related life-cycle informationafter the Project, to be used as a repository of design developed and construction information for use delivered by the Project Team during the designDesigner as specified in this Contract and in accordance with model requirements, bidding and construction phases of the Projectsincluding but not limited to derived documentation, data standards, model set-up, and for the TFC’s use throughout the life-cycle of the facilitiesother prescriptive information and model requirements provided herein.
