Building Information Modelling (BIM) Sample Clauses

Building Information Modelling (BIM). BIM shall be a required element from the XXXX and the XXXX’x subcontractors. The three dimensional model shall be used to coordinate building elements to minimize conflicts in the field and to provide a common platform to optimize installation. Should the XXXX identify any conflicts, these conflict shall be immediately brought to the attention of the Owner Project Team at the same time they become known to XXXX. The Library’s A/E Design Team will participate in these coordination meetings with the XXXX and subcontractors to identify and resolve installation conflicts during the design and construction phases. The XXXX shall develop and maintain this model. As part of the close out package, the XXXX shall submit the complete final model in as-built condition. The Library’s A/E Design Team will certify that the final model is free of conflicts prior to construction.
