Calculation of Allowances. 1 If the employee receives an allowance for working irregular hours or an allowance for on-call or standby shifts, the employer shall stipulate an average amount for the hours he is prevented from working based on the allowances awarded in the twelve calendar months prior to the time that the employee was first prevented from performing his work.

Calculation of Allowances. 1 1. If the employee receives an allowance for working irregular hours or an allowance for on-call or standby shifts, the employer shall stipulate an average amount for the hours he is prevented from working based on the allowances awarded in the twelve calendar months prior to the time that the employee was first prevented from performing his work. 2. If the employee referred to in the first paragraph has not yet been employed for twelve calendar months, the calculation shall be based on the average amount of his monthly remuneration over the period for which he was employed before he was first prevented from working.
