Meals Allowance. 1 The employer shall provide a meal for employees who are instructed to perform more than two hours of overtime immediately after their working day or employees who perform work for more than two hours during an on-call or standby shift and are consequently unable to partake of their meal at the usual time and place.

Where the employer requires an employee to be absent from his/her designated workplace and travel from the employee’s designated workplace in excess of a radius of 100km, the cost of a meal shall be reimbursed up to the maxima as follows:- 22.2.2.
