CALL-IN EMERGENCY. Section 1. When an employee is called during the employee's time off to report for a work assignment outside of the employee's scheduled shift, it shall be considered a call-in emergency. However, when an employee is requested to remain late on a day on which the employee has reported for work or when prior to leaving work, an employee has been requested to report for work on a subsequent day at either the employee’s regular or non-regular starting time, it shall not be considered a call-in emergency. Section 2. Payment for time worked on a call-in emergency shall not be less than one-half (1/2) the employee’s regularly scheduled hours at the employee’s regular rate of pay. Employees shall perform any tasks as assigned.
