Caller Localization Sample Clauses

Caller Localization. Caller location identification is based on mobile cell ID position and its segment of coverage (for mobile calls), thus the location information is as precise as the size of the area covered by the segment. Such information is then decoded and displayed on the CAD application by an integrated GIS module.

Caller Localization. PSAPs automatically receive Push information on the position of the caller whenever a 112 call is involved, meaning that the Mobile Network Operator provides the geographical coordinates (X, Y) of the antenna that handles the call, and an area that delimits the actual position of the caller. In some cases, location of the caller can be obtained under a Pull scheme, as well. With telephone calls received from the landline, location is obtained through ANI/ALI tables from the CMT (Comisión del Xxxxxxx de las Telecomunicaciones). Location information is obtained during the first 15 seconds from the reception of the call, with some PSAPs receiving this information in 1.5 seconds, in average. The accuracy of the localisation within the mobile phone network is, in urban areas, between 100 m and 300 m; in rural areas, it is from 500 m to 10 km. For calls originated from mobile networks, the POSIC112 v2 protocol is used, that is utilized to send, from the MNO to the PSAPs, information on the position of the mobile terminal that is making the 112 call. It is applied to all calls, including those of international or national roaming services.
Caller Localization. This can be done either on the basis of call location or after the caller makes specific choices answering in questions of system via his telephone appliance (System Interactive Voice Response - IVR). ADMOSS supports both the internal IVR functionality of EWSD and hiR Resource Server for statements and interactive dialogues. With the IVR technology it is possible to service all different types of calls from a single number - which is also easier to be remembered by the users of service. Third party telephone centre connectivity is also supported, via CTI models (Computer Telephony Integration). Finally, ADMOSS supports a variety of system controls, like wall screens for operational centres and statistical functionality that allows a level of control for the offered service. Currently, all emergency 112 calls are dispatched to the appropriate Emergency Control Centres (i.e. police, ambulance, and fire brigade) after executing a series of processes described in the flowchart shown below.
