Canadian Forces. You must be a “CANEX Authorized Patron” to license software marked as “Canadian Forces” edition. CANEX Authorized Patrons are: * Armed Forces (CAF) members (Regular and Reserve Force) and their families; * Veterans (former members of the CAF) and their families, including families of the deceased; * Members of foreign military currently serving with the CAF and their families; * Current Staff of the Non-Public Funds, Canadian Forces (NPF, CF); * Current staff of Military Family Resource Centres (MFRCs); * Current Department of National Defence (DND) public servants and their families; * Serving and former Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) and their families; * Current staff of Defence Research and Development Canada (DRDC) and their families; * Current staff of Defence Construction Canada (DCC) and their families; * Honourary Colonels/Captains(N), Lieutenant Colonels/Commanders and their families; * Family members of the Staff of the NPF, CF; or * Family members of the MFRCs.

Canadian Forces. Employees who are conscripted to serve in The Canadian Forces or who enlist therein during hostilities, or serve in the Canada’s Reserve Force for training or deployment purposes, shall be considered as having a leave of absence without pay and shall retain their seniority rights and will continue to accumulate seniority rights provided they are asserted within ninety (90) days following honourable discharge and provided such discharge is obtained by the employee as and when it is made available to the employee.

  • Transactions Made in Foreign Currencies If a transaction is made in a foreign currency, we and Mastercard International or VISA International, depending on which card is used, will convert the transaction into a U.S. dollar amount. Mastercard and VISA will act in accordance with their operating regulations or conversion procedures in effect at the time the transaction is processed. Currently, their regulations and procedures provide that the currency conversion rate they use, to determine the transaction amount in U.S. dollar, is either (a) a wholesale market rate, or (b) a government-mandated rate in effect one day prior to the processing date. Mastercard and VISA increase this conversion rate by one percent (1%) and keep this increase as compensation for performing the currency conversion service. We will charge you two percent (2%) of the U.S. dollar amount of the transaction converted from a foreign currency. The currency conversion rate calculated in this manner that is in effect on the processing date may differ from the rate in effect on the transaction date or posting date. Other Charges. You agree we may assess, in addition to the Interest Charge, the Other Charges below which charges will be earned when assessed and are not subject to refund or rebate. The following fees may be added, as applicable, to the Account and treated as a Purchase as indicated on the Insert:

  • Foreign Terrorists Organizations Contractor represents and warrants that it is not engaged in business with Iran, Sudan, or a foreign terrorist organization, as prohibited by Section 2252.152 of the Texas Government Code.
