Common use of Cancellation by User Clause in Contracts

Cancellation by User. Cancellation of an event by the User shall not alleviate the User of expenses. In such a case, User agrees to forfeit any deposit and furthermore pay all expenses already incurred by Owner. In addition, if the event is cancelled within seven (7) days of the event, User will be responsible for paying any difference between the use fee listed on the first page of this agreement and the security deposit.
