Cancellation Request Due to Military Orders Sample Clauses

The "Cancellation Request Due to Military Orders" clause allows a party, typically a tenant or service user, to terminate an agreement without penalty if they receive official military orders requiring relocation or deployment. In practice, this clause usually requires the affected individual to provide written notice and a copy of their military orders to the other party, such as a landlord or service provider, within a specified timeframe. Its core function is to protect service members from contractual obligations they cannot fulfill due to mandatory military duties, ensuring fairness and compliance with applicable laws like the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act.
