Common use of Carpet Area Clause in Contracts

Carpet Area. Shall according to its context, mean net usable total floor area of the flat/ apartment excluding all outer walls and other super structures services shafts, exclusive balcony or verandah area and exclusive open terrace area, but includes the area covered by the internal partition walls of the apartment and shall mean net area of the floor and ceiling within the Flat only available to the purchaser and or the occupier of the same.
