Casual Substitute. A casual substitute is a person who is employed as a substitute for thirty (30) non- consecutive days beginning or ending within the current school year. Upon completion of thirty (30) non-consecutive days, the person shall be considered a thirty (30) day substitute and an employee within the bargaining unit. Thirty (30) day substitutes shall not be covered by any of the terms and provisions of this Agreement except that the employee shall receive an increase of five dollars ($5.00) more per day than the prevailing substitute wage beginning and ending within the current school year.

Casual Substitute. A Casual substitute is any substitute who typically works less than thirty (30) days in a twelve- month period and shall be paid $110 per day for a full day and $55 for a half day rate for part-time service. Substitutes shall not be covered by any of the other terms and provisions of the agreement. The District will not negotiate with or recognize any employee organization other than the Association as representing the employees referenced above, unless such organization has been legally certified as the exclusive bargaining representative as provided for by law.
Casual Substitute i) Casual/substitute opportunities can be accepted using the Board’s absence management system.

  • Internal Substitution A. Every reasonable effort will be made to secure substitutes for teachers when they are absent from duty.

  • PRODUCT SUBSTITUTION In the event a specified manufacturer’s Product listed in the Contract becomes unavailable or cannot be supplied by the Contractor for any reason (except as provided for in the Savings/Force Majeure Clause) a Product deemed in writing by the Commissioner to be equal to or better than the specified Product must be substituted by the Contractor at no additional cost or expense to the Authorized User.   • REPAIRED OR REPLACED PARTS / COMPONENTS Where the Contractor is required to repair, replace or substitute Product or parts or components of the Product under the Contract, the repaired, replaced or substituted Products shall be subject to all terms and conditions for new parts and components set forth in the Contract including Warranties, as set forth in the Additional Warranties Clause herein. Replaced or repaired Product or parts and components of such Product shall be new and shall, if available, be replaced by the original manufacturer’s component or part. Remanufactured parts or components meeting new Product standards may be permitted by the Commissioner or Authorized User. Before installation, all proposed substitutes for the original manufacturer’s installed parts or components must be approved by the Authorized User. The part or component shall be equal to or of better quality than the original part or component being replaced.

  • ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES RESIDENT covenants that RESIDENT and any persons in their household and/or on the PREMISES with their consent shall not obtain, possess, use, administer, dispense, cultivate, or distribute any illegal drug, controlled substance or marijuana on or in the PREMISES. RESIDENT further agrees that this LEASE and RESIDENT’S right to occupy said PREMISES will be terminated if it becomes known to MANAGEMENT that RESIDENT has failed to comply with this paragraph. RI

  • Long-Term Substitutes Long-term substitutes are defined as teachers hired to fill the temporary vacancy of a teacher on leave in the same assignment for more than sixty (60) days. The employment of long-term substitutes shall automatically expire at the end of the period of substitution or upon return to duty of the teacher from an approved leave of absence without any action by the Board or further notice to the teacher.

  • Replacement Parts Replacement parts for goods purchased by Buyer are for the purpose of this Section defined as “Parts” (and are also considered “goods” under this Order). Unless specified otherwise by Buyer in writing, Supplier shall provide Parts (or upon Buyer’s written consent, an alternative replacement part that provides the same form, fit and function as the Part(s)) for a period of twenty (20) years after production of the goods (into which the applicable Parts are incorporated) ceases. Supplier shall continue to supply such Parts past the twenty (20) year period if Buyer orders at least twenty (20) Parts per year during such twenty-year period. The prices for any Parts purchased in the first two (2) years of the twenty-year period shall not exceed those prices in effect at the time production of the goods ceases, and no set up charges shall be permitted by Supplier or paid by Xxxxx during this two-year period. Thereafter, the prices for Parts shall be negotiated based on Supplier’s actual cost of production of such Parts plus any special packaging costs. No minimum order requirements shall apply unless the parties mutually agree in advance. After the end of the twenty-year period, Supplier shall continue to maintain in good working condition all Supplier-owned tooling required to produce the Parts and shall not dispose of such tooling without offering Buyer the right of first refusal to purchase such tooling.

  • Substitute Work Unit members on the layoff list may sign up for day-to-day substitute work with the Personnel Office indicating sites at which they are willing to work.

  • Selection of Subcontractors, Procurement of Materials and Leasing of Equipment The contractor shall not discriminate on the grounds of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age or disability in the selection and retention of subcontractors, including procurement of materials and leases of equipment. The contractor shall take all necessary and reasonable steps to ensure nondiscrimination in the administration of this contract.
