Substitute List. Teachers placed on leave of absence as herein stated shall be given priority status on the school district's substitute list, if so requested by the teacher. Daily pay for teachers on this leave of absence and substituting shall be the same rate as that of an extended substitute.
Substitute List. An employee who is on layoff, upon request, will be placed on any one or all of the substitute lists maintained. Such employee shall be paid at the substitute pay rate; shall have the right to refuse the assignment without loss of recall rights and shall be considered as on layoff status while working as a substitute.

Substitute List. 9.2.2.1 The administrative assistant at each school shall collect a list of volunteer names at the start of each semester.
9.2.2.2 The District shall make a good faith effort to comply with the order of rotation. Selected unit members shall receive compensation at the variable rate times 1.5. Any block period over eighty (80) minutes shall count as two (2) periods.
9.2.2.3 If this process does not result in the needed number of substitute teachers, then counselors and xxxxx may be assigned to such positions. If the assignment is required, the affected xxxx or counselor shall qualify for one (1) hour of additional pay at 1.5 times the variable rate (even if the assignment involves more than one [1] hour or one [1] period of substitute teaching).

a) The Board shall establish annually a Substitute List for the purposes of this Agreement. When a vacancy is to be filled temporarily, for a period of seventy (70) consecutive working days or less in the same position, the Board may appoint someone from the Substitute List.
b) An employee on recall in accordance with Article 3.8 - “Recall” shall be placed on the Substitute List, upon written request. However, any time worked as a substitute employee will extend the time limit on recall identified in Article 4.4 c) - “Seniority Lost” by the actual time worked as a substitute employee. The employer will provide to the Union the names of employees on recall as changes occur.
c) An employee on recall shall be given preference when a substitute employee is required, provided that the employee on recall has the required qualifications, knowledge, education, skills and abilities for the substitute position.
d) The Board will update and distribute a revised Substitute List during the calendar year as required.
Substitute List. Any teacher not recalled by the Board shall receive top priority on the substitute teacher list. Permanent substitute positions must be offered in order of seniority to qualified teachers on layoff.
