Categories of Extended Leave (Unpaid. a. Military - Granted to a teacher who is inducted, or enlists in lieu of induction, in the armed forces of the United States. Upon returning, the teacher shall be credited with a maximum of two (2) annual increments on the salary schedule, if such experience increments were granted during the leave, to be determined by the length of the leave. Maximum duration is five (5) years or as provided by law under The Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act (USERRA).
