The parties agree that the Central Labour Relations Committee will discuss the following topics: Provision of information relating to bargaining unit members, including scope, manner of disclosure and timing, in order to assist the parties in preparation for the next round of central bargaining Medical Intervention Training Staffing for Supervision Violence Prevention Training Concerns, if any, regarding systemic issues relating to allocation or application of sick leave/short term disability leave Any other issues raised by the parties LETTER OF UNDERSTANDING #12 BETWEEN The Canadian Union of Public Employees (Hereinafter ‘CUPE’) AND The Council of Trustees’ Associations (Hereinafter the ‘CTA/CAE’) AND The Crown RE: EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATORS WORK GROUP (FDK) The parties and the Crown agree that within sixty (60) days following central ratification, a work group consisting of equal numbers of CTA/Crown and CUPE representatives shall convene to consider and make recommendations concerning Early Childhood Educators including, but not limited to the following: Hours of work Preparation time FDK class size Students with special needs Staffing levels Professional collaboration and development the feasibility of establishing Itinerant Lead positions within the bargaining unit. The work group shall make joint recommendations to the parties no later than June 30, 2016.
