Health & Safety Committee. The Employer agrees to establish a Health & Safety Committee for all employees of the company under the auspices of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA). The Committee shall be made up of an equal number (not less than one each) of non-bargaining unit and bargaining unit persons who have completed their probationary period. The Union has the right to appoint the members representing the bargaining unit. The Committee shall keep minutes of its meetings and post them in the shop. One copy will be forwarded to the Union office.
Health & Safety Committee a. The Employer and the Union agree that they mutually desire to maintain standards of safety and health in the Home in order to prevent accidents, injury and illness.
b. Recognizing its responsibilities under the applicable legislation, the Employer agrees to accept as a member of its Health and Safety Committee at least two (2) representatives selected or appointed by the Union from amongst bargaining unit employees.
c. Such Committee shall identify potential dangers and hazards, institute means of improving health and safety programs and recommend actions to be taken to improve conditions related to safety and health.
d. The Employer agrees to cooperate reasonably in providing necessary information to enable the committee to fulfill its functions. In addition, the Employer will provide the committee with reasonable access to all accident reports, health and safety records and any other pertinent information in its possession.
e. Meetings shall be held every three (3) months or more frequently at the call of the Chair, if required. The Committee shall maintain minutes of all meetings and make the same available for review.
f. Any representatives appointed or selected in accordance with (b) hereof, shall serve for a term of at least one (1) calendar year from the date of appointment. Time off for such representative(s) to attend meetings of the Health and Safety Committee in accordance with the foregoing, shall be granted and any representative(s) attending such meetings during their regularly scheduled hours of work, shall not lose regular earnings as a result of such attendance.
g. The Union agrees to endeavour to obtain the full cooperation of its membership in the observation of all safety rules and practices.
h. All time spent by a member of the Health and Safety Committee attending meetings of the Committee and carrying out her duties, shall be deemed to be work time for which she shall be paid for the Employer at her regular rate and she shall be entitled to such time from work as is necessary to attend scheduled meetings
Health & Safety Committee. Consistent with the requirements of the Canada Labour Code, the parties also agree to participate in a Health & Safety Committee, which shall consider all health, and safety matters of mutual interest.
Health & Safety Committee. The Hospital and the Union agree that they mutually desire to maintain standards of safety and health in the Hospital in order to prevent accidents, injury and illness. its responsibilities under the applicable legislation, the Hospital agrees to accept as a member of its Accident Prevention Health Safety Committee at least one representative selected or appointed by the Union from amongst bargaining unit employees. Such Committee shall identify potential dangers and hazards, institute means of improving health and safety programs and recommend actions to be taken to improve conditions related to safety and health. The Hospital agrees to cooperate reasonably in providing necessary information to enable the Committee to its functions. Meetings shall be held every second month or more frequently at the call of the chair if required. The Committee shall maintain minutes of all meetings and make the same available for review. Any representative appointed or selected in accordance with hereof shall serve for a term of one calendar year from the date of appointment which may be renewed for further periods of one year. Time off for such representative(s) to attend meetings of the Accident Prevention Health and Safety Committee in accordance with the foregoing shall be granted and time so spent attending such meetings shall be deemed to be work time for which the representative(s) shall be paid by the Hospital at his regular or premium rate as may be applicable. The Union agrees to endeavour to obtain the full cooperation of its membership in the observation of all safety rules and practices. Pregnant employees may request to be transferred from their current duties if, in the professional opinion of the employee's physician, the pregnancy may be at risk. If such a transfer is not feasible, the pregnant employee, if she so requests, will be granted an unpaid leave of absence before commencement of the maternity leave referred to in Article HEALTH SAFETY COMMITTEE Where the Hospital identifies high risk areas where employees are exposed to Hepatitis the Hospital will provide, at no cost to the employees, a Hepatitis B vaccine.
Health & Safety Committee. A Provincial Joint Health & Safety Committee will be established to meet up to two (2) times per year, or more often if necessary, to address health & safety issues raised by either party. The Committee shall be comprised of a maximum of four
Health & Safety Committee. Consistent with the requirements of the Canada Labour Code, the Parties also agree to participate in a Health & Safety Committee. The Committee shall give consideration to matters of safety of mutual interest to the Company and SPEA, including the safeguarding of health and safety of employees and the workplace environment, and the prevention of hazards to life and property. The Committee shall normally meet monthly at a mutually agreed upon time and minutes of the proceedings shall be kept by a Representative of the Company. Minutes shall be reviewed by a SPEA Representative prior to distribution. Conclusions reached by the Committee shall be referred to the Company and SPEA. If required, a SPEA staff representative may attend the Committee meetings, providing reasonable notice.
Health & Safety Committee. Consistent with the requirements of the Canada Labour Code, the parties also agree to participate in a Health and Safety Committee. The Committee shall give consideration to matters of safety of mutual interest to the Company and the Union, including the safeguarding of health and safety of employees and the workplace environment, and the prevention of hazards to life and property. This committee shall normally meet monthly at a mutually agreed upon time and minutes of the proceedings shall be kept by a representative of the Company. Minutes shall be reviewed by a Union Representative prior to distribution. Conclusions reached by this committee shall be presented to the Company and the Union.

Health & Safety Committee. 1. The Health and Safety Committee may consist of at least one representative from each department recognized by the agreement and representatives from the administration.
2. The charge of the Health and Safety Committee shall be to investigate and recommend safety and health changes to the administration and to develop health and safety standards for the District.
3. The committee shall meet a minimum of once a month with 5 days notification to all committee members.
4. The Health and Safety Committee shall receive a copy of all employee notices of occupational observations/incidents and the safety coordinator will be responsible for reporting to the committee at regularly scheduled meetings the corrective actions taken to remedy the observations/ incidents.
5. The Health and Safety Committee shall receive a copy of all employee safety violations and action being taken by immediate supervisor.
6. The Health and Safety Committee shall, through the observation of violations/incidents, recommend appropriate in-service programs for employee groups.
Health & Safety Committee.
a) The Employer agrees to ensure as far as is reasonably practical to do so the health and Safety of the Employees in all operations.
b) The Union and the Employer shall appoint two (2) committee members for each committee which shall meet once per month at the place of employment or otherwise mutually agreed location. Meeting will be held on Company time.
c) The Union or any employee may bring to the attention of the Employer any Health and Safety concerns and such issues will be addressed by the Committee.
d) The Employer will act expeditiously in responding to Health and Safety concerns raised.
