Common use of CENTRAL LABOUR RELATIONS COMMITTEE Clause in Contracts

CENTRAL LABOUR RELATIONS COMMITTEE. The parties agree that the Central Labour Relations Committee will discuss the following topics:  Provision of information relating to bargaining unit members, including scope, manner of disclosure and timing, in order to assist the parties in preparation for the next round of central bargaining  Medical Intervention Training  Staffing for Supervision  Violence Prevention Training  Concerns, if any, regarding systemic issues relating to allocation or application of sick leave/short term disability leave  Any other issues raised by the parties The parties and the Crown agree that within sixty (60) days following central ratification, a work group consisting of equal numbers of CTA/Crown and CUPE representatives shall convene to consider and make recommendations concerning Early Childhood Educators including, but not limited to the following:  Hours of work  Preparation time  FDK class size  Students with special needs  Staffing levels  Professional collaboration and development  the feasibility of establishing Itinerant Lead positions within the bargaining unit. The work group shall make joint recommendations to the parties no later than June 30, 2016.
