Common use of Certificate License Clause in Contracts

Certificate License. Effective immediately after issuance and continuing until the Certificate either expires or is revoked, DigiCert grants Applicant a revocable, non-exclusive, non- transferable license to use, for the benefit of the Subject, each issued Certificate in connection with properly licensed cryptographic software to (i) create Digital Signatures and (ii) perform Public Key or Private Key operations. Applicant is solely responsible for its failure to renew or replace a Certificate prior to its expiration.
