Certification of absence and Return to Work. i) The Employer may require from employees a doctor’s opinion on the employer’s form to cover any absence due to illness, where the frequency, circumstances, and pattern of the absences so warrant. Where practicable, notification of the requirement to provide certification will be given in advance of the employee’s return.
