Common use of Certifications/Qualifications Required Clause in Contracts

Certifications/Qualifications Required. (1) Inspectors shall meet the qualification requirements of 1 RCNY 101-06, Appendix A under the following Special Inspection Category: (a) “Mechanical Systems” for testing of high-pressure-gas piping; and/or (b) “Welding” for inspection of welding and welding operations. (2) Radiographic / Non-Destructive Testing (NDT): (a) Current American Society for Non-Destructive Testing (ASNT) Level II Certified by current employer to ‘SNT-TC-1A’ or by ASNT Control Certified Program (ACCP) in the relevant NDT method, OR (b) ASNT Level II or III certified to ACCP in the relevant NDT Method.
