Certified Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic definition

Certified Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic means any individual who has successfully completed an emergency medical technician- paramedic training program developed and promulgated by the United States Department of Transportation and adopted by the bureau, who is nationally registered, and who is certified by the bureau.
Certified Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic means any individual who has successfully completed an emergency medical technician- paramedic training program developed and promulgated by the United States Department of Transportation and adopted by the Bureau of Emergency Medical Services, who is nationally registered, and who is certified by the bureau.

  • Emergency Medical Technician (EMT means: an individual licensed with cognitive knowledge and a scope of practice that corresponds to that level in the National EMS Education Standards and National EMS Scope of Practice Model.

  • Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) means a qualified person who evaluates employees who have violated a DOT drug and alcohol regulation and makes recommendations concerning education, treatment, follow-up testing, and aftercare.

  • Mental health facility means a mental health facility as defined by the Inpatient Mental Health Treatment of Children Act;
