CHANGE IN FACULTY STATUS AND STEP MOVEMENT. a. If a part-time/adjunct faculty member is hired into a full-time faculty position, they will remain in the bargaining unit and maintain their step position on the part-time/adjunct salary schedule. They will move up two steps on the Part-Time Salary Schedule for every year in a full-time faculty position. b. If a faculty member who has previously been part-time/adjunct returns to part-time status after serving in a full-time position of two consecutive terms or more, then they will move up two steps on the Part-Time Salary Schedule for every year in a full-time faculty position.
