Assignment Notification. Prior to leaving for summer recess, a licensed staff member may request notice of their tentative assignment for the coming year.
Assignment Notification. 26.1.1 In order that employees may begin planning and preparation for the coming school year, employees other than newly employed or transferred employees, shall be notified by the principal or supervisor by posting not later than the end of the school year, a duty schedule for the coming school year showing tentative employee assignments including their programs for the coming school year, the schools to which they will be assigned, the grades and/or subjects that they will teach, and any special or unusual classes that they will have.
26.1.2 Because of the unique nature of Washoe Innovations High School and Washoe Inspire Academy wherein learning centers are scattered throughout the community, often in leased facilities and contingent on enrollment, changes in teacher location as well as center locations may occur at any time during the school year. When it is determined that a center will be closed, moved, or the program changed, affected teachers will be notified of the changes and the reasons. Reasons will be provided in writing, if requested.
26.1.2.1 During the period of time when the District is publishing a Needs List, vacancies which occur at Washoe Innovations High School and Washoe Inspire Academy shall first be announced to currently-contracted teachers at Washoe Innovations High School and Washoe Inspire Academy.
26.1.2.2 Whenever possible, teachers whose learning centers are being eliminated shall be informed in the spring when vacancies are being posted for Washoe Innovations High School and Washoe Inspire Academy. Reason(s) for the closing of said center(s) shall be reduced to writing, if requested.
26.1.2.3 Should the necessity of closing a center occur during the summer and prior to the beginning of the school year, then the teacher shall be informed in writing with the opportunity to submit a preference for those positions available.
26.1.2.4 The principal shall inform the current staff of all known vacancies by posting them at the Washoe Innovations High School and Washoe Inspire Academy Administrative Office and through announcement at the next regularly scheduled staff meeting.
26.1.2.5 Those teachers who wish to be considered for a change in their teaching location shall so notify the principal in writing.
26.1.2.6 Once school is out in June, the principal is no longer required to notify staff members of openings.

Assignment Notification. 1. It is recognized that the District has the right to assign classes to Adjunct Faculty. The School Xxxx shall request that Adjunct Faculty express their assignment preference in time for schedules to be produced. Every effort will be made by the District to obtain written or oral consent of the assignment(s) from the Adjunct Faculty Member prior to the distribution of the class schedule. Adjunct Faculty Members who taught the previous semester, shall be notified of hiring or non-hiring no less than thirty (30) calendar days prior to the start of the Fall and Spring Semesters. For the Intersession and Summer session (if offered by the District), Adjunct Faculty Members shall be notified of hiring no less than thirty (30) calendar days prior to the start of the sessions. Such notification of hiring shall be in writing or by District email and shall include pertinent information such as course(s) or non-teaching assignment dates and times. The following language shall be included on the load plan. “This offer of employment and assignment is contingent upon budgetary considerations, a sufficient number of students enrolled, and /or any unforeseen enrollment changes in, or constraints upon the District. This is the only notification of assignment you will receive.”
Assignment Notification. The University will email residents when their room/roommate assignment information is available through the MyHousing portal. The University reserves the right to alter the specific room assignment at any time, including during and after assignment notification.
Assignment Notification. 24.13.2.1 In order that extended duty personnel may begin planning and preparation for the coming school year, personnel other than those newly employed and transfers, shall be notified of their tentative extended duty assignments not later than the end of the school year.
Assignment Notification. Every effort shall be made to notify teachers no later than April 30th of any change in teaching assignment for the next school year, including the school or schools to which they will be assigned, the grade and/or subject they will teach, and any special or unusual classes which may require special preparation beforehand. When changes in assignment are necessary, the preferences of the individual teacher with respect to grade and/or subject assignment will receive the fullest consideration.
Assignment Notification. (a) Communication of Assignment to Faculty
1. A tentative assignment of responsibilities for the fall semester shall be provided no later than July 15.
2. A tentative assignment of responsibilities for the spring semester shall be provided no later than November 20.
3. The faculty member shall be notified of the final assignment in writing no later than two (2) weeks in advance of the starting date of each semester.
4. New faculty members shall be informed of assigned duties as soon as can be done.
(b) Change in Assignment
1. If it should become necessary to make changes in a faculty member’s assignment, the person responsible for making the change shall notify the faculty member as soon as practicable prior to making such changes and shall specify the changes and the reason for the changes in writing.
2. The University shall make a good faith effort not to change a faculty member’s teaching assignment fewer than two (2) weeks prior to the beginning of the semester.

Assignment Notification. Notification of assignment to adult school shall be in writing and shall include the tentative location and subject(s) to be taught. Those applicants not selected for an assignment shall also be notified in writing.
Assignment Notification. The College will provide the following upon written request from a part-time/adjunct faculty member:
a. Between September 1 and one (1) week prior to beginning of classes, the College will provide to part-time/adjunct faculty members, who have been employed by the College for any part of the two (2) immediately consecutive prior years, a proposed schedule of assigned classes for the coming academic year.
b. For others, by the third week of the current term, a proposed work assignment will be provided for the following term. The proposed assignment notification is not an enforceable employment contract. It is an expression of the College’s tentative assignment plans based on information available at the time of notification.
Assignment Notification. The Board shall make reasonable efforts to notify bargaining unit members of their building or subject assignment no later than with the last payroll check issued in June. All building or subject assignments shall be issued by August 01. If a building or subject assignment is issued after August 01, then a bargaining unit member so affected shall be granted extended service of two (2) to five (5) days to prepare for the new assignment. However, such extended service shall not be granted where a change is made after August 01 due to an emergency. An emergency is defined as anything beyond the control of the Board or administration.
