Change of Level Due to Educational Attainment. 1. To qualify for placement on the BA/BS salary schedule, an Employee must present evidence of having been granted an BA or BS degree from an accredited university. 2. To qualify for placement on the BA+15 salary schedule, an Employee must present evidence of having completed with a passing grade at least 15 semester hours (22-1/2 term hours) of graduate work after having earned a Bachelor’s degree. 3. To qualify for placement on the MA/MS salary schedule, an Employee must present evidence of having been granted an MA or MS degree from an accredited university. 4. To qualify for placement on the MA+15 salary schedule, an Employee must present evidence of having completed with a passing grade at least 15 semester hours (22-1/2 term hours) of graduate work after having earned a Master’s degree. 5. To qualify for placement on the MA+30/MSW/Ed.S. salary schedule, an Employee must present evidence of having been granted an MSW, a 60-semester hour Masters, or an Ed.S. degree from an accredited university or evidence of having completed with a passing grade at least 30 semester hours (45 term hours) of graduate work after having earned a Master’s degree. 6. Upon receipt of verification of educational attainment, salary increases will be effective at the start of the new school year or on the 15th day of January, whichever occurs first. 7. In no cases will salary increases due to educational attainment be backdated beyond the current contract year.
