Common use of CHANGE OF SALARY Clause in Contracts

CHANGE OF SALARY. A salary change resulting from a permanent change in position shall take effect with the assumption of the duties of the new position. The salary change shall be one (1) of the following: 1) to the minimum salary for the new position, or 2) to the salary step on the appropriate schedule which is at least one (1) salary increment higher than the salary currently being paid the person concerned.
