CHANGE TO PIB STATUS. When an employee changes to PIB status during the annual Open Enrollment process, the employee will forfeit his/her vacation balance effective the date of change in status. On the effective date of the change in status to PIB, the employee will cease accruing vacation time due to the additional pay in lieu of vacation benefits in the PIB.
