Common use of CHANGES TO SCOPE OF SERVICES Clause in Contracts

CHANGES TO SCOPE OF SERVICES. A. The City may at any time, but only by written order, make changes within the general scope of this Agreement and in the services or work to be performed. If such changes cause a significant increase or decrease in the Consultant’s cost or time required for performance of any services under this Agreement, the Parties shall formally amend this Agreement. Any claim of Consultant for adjustment under this clause must be asserted in writing within thirty (30) calendar days from the date of receipt by the Consultant of notification of changes by the City, or such claim shall be deemed waived by Consultant and Consultant will be deemed to have agreed to the changes without modification of the compensation or time of performance hereunder. B. No additional compensation shall be paid, and no increase in the time of performance shall be awarded, to the Consultant for changes in scope of work without the prior written authorization of the City to proceed with such changes. C. No additional compensation shall be paid to Consultant for additional costs or delay due to the negligence or intentional acts of Consultant or any subconsultant or any of the officers, employees, or agents of Consultant or any subconsultant.
