Characteristics of the level (a) A person employed as a Social and community services employee level 6 will operate under limited direction from senior employees or management and undertake a range of functions for which operational policies, practices and guidelines may need to be developed.
Salary Schedule Progression Employees shall progress from step to step in salary grade on the basis of satisfactory job performance based upon established standards of performance. Seasonal employee's initial anniversary date shall be established after being in pay status for two thousand eighty (2,080) hours. Such date shall then be used for annual performance evaluation and step progression consideration. When an employee's anniversary date falls on any day from the first day of a pay week through Wednesday of the pay week, the employee's merit increase shall be effective as of the first day of the pay week within which the anniversary date falls. Otherwise, the merit increase shall be effective on the first day of the next pay week. Grievances arising from the denial of merit increases shall not be arbitrable under this Agreement but shall be processed as follows:
Salary Schedule Advancement The base salaries in each cluster within a step may be increased through COLA, turnover savings, increments, and additional educational attainment. Once placed in a cluster within a step, faculty do not move from cluster to cluster except as described in B.3.B below.
Designated Teacher for Looked After Children 17A) The Academy Trust will in respect of the Academy act in accordance with, and be bound by, all relevant statutory and regulatory provisions and have regard to any guidance and codes of practice issued pursuant to such provisions, as they apply at any time to a maintained school, relating to the designation of a person to manage the teaching and learning programme for children who are looked after by a LA and are registered pupils at the school. For the purpose of this clause, any reference to the governing body of a maintained school in such statutory and regulatory provisions, or in any guidance and code of practice issued pursuant to such provisions, shall be deemed to be references to the Governing Body of the Academy Trust. Criteria for Tenure A. The decision to award tenure to an employee shall be a result of meritorious performance and shall be based on established criteria specified in writing by the University. The decision shall take into account the following:
Status of Salary Schedule The salary schedules are not to be construed as part of a teacher’s continuing contract. In the event a successor Agreement is not entered into prior to the expiration date of this Agreement, a teacher shall be compensated according to the previous year’s compensation until such time that a successor Agreement is executed.
CONDITIONS FOR EMERGENCY/HURRICANE OR DISASTER - TERM CONTRACTS It is hereby made a part of this Invitation for Bids that before, during and after a public emergency, disaster, hurricane, flood, or other acts of God that Orange County shall require a “first priority” basis for goods and services. It is vital and imperative that the majority of citizens are protected from any emergency situation which threatens public health and safety, as determined by the County. Contractor agrees to rent/sell/lease all goods and services to the County or other governmental entities as opposed to a private citizen, on a first priority basis. The County expects to pay contractual prices for all goods or services required during an emergency situation. Contractor shall furnish a twenty-four (24) hour phone number in the event of such an emergency.
Target Population The Grantee shall ensure that diversion programs and services provided under this grant are designed to serve juvenile offenders who are at risk of commitment to Department.
