Creditable Years of Service. A creditable year of service is defined as twelve consecutive months of full-time employment beginning the first of the month following the employee’s date of hire in a regular, full-time position. An employee returning from an approved leave of absence shall receive credit toward vacation increments for years of employment prior to the leave. An employee who terminates employment for any reason except due to a reduction in force or due to the expiration of a temporary contract and is subsequently reemployed will be considered a new employee and will not be given credit for prior years of service in calculating vacation eligibility. An employee must be reemployed within two (2) years of a reduction in force or expiration of a temporary contract in order to qualify for prior years of service credit in calculating vacation eligibility. Eligible employees shall be entitled to annual vacation with pay according to the following schedule: Employees will start earning 120 hours of annual paid vacation during their fourth year of creditable service and 160 hours during their seventh year of creditable service.

Creditable Years of Service. (a) A Xxxxxxx'x creditable years of service for vacation pay purposes shall be his/her continuous service in the employ of member COMPANIES of the BCMEA, including xxxxxxxxx industry service, as at the end of the calendar year. Those calendar years in which the Employee was a Xxxxxxx and/or xxxxxxxxx shall be determined in accordance with the BCMEA/ILWU Canada Agreement. For other calendar years, a creditable year shall be a year in which the Employee was employed for more than six months in the year. In order to qualify for service benefits, years of service must be consecutive. Due consideration will be given for broken service on account of sickness, injury or other reasonable causes. No calendar year shall be counted more than once. (b) Vacation pay earned under BCMEA/ILWU Canada Collective Agreement shall count as earnings and be calculated not more than once.

  • Maintaining Eligibility for Employer Contribution The employer's contribution continues as long as the employee remains on the payroll in an insurance eligible position. Employees who complete their regular school year assignment shall receive coverage through August 31.

  • Term of Service Except as otherwise provided in this Agreement, Atlas shall serve as the Managing General Partner of the Partnership until either it:
