CHARGE NURSE TRAINING. 598. Employees who are newly appointed to be a Charge Nurse (primary assignment) or designated Charge Nurse Reliever shall be given a minimum of four (4) hours of initial training covering responsibilities of the role, including legal and ethical duties. The Department also agrees to provide a minimum of two (2) hours of annual refresher training for all Charge Nurses.
