Check-off of Union Dues and Assessments. (a) The Commission shall, upon written authorization, as a condition of employment, deduct from the monthly wages or salary of each employee in the bargaining unit, whether or not the employee is a member of the Union, the amount of the regular monthly dues payable to the Union by a member of the Union. (b) The Commission shall, upon written authorization, deduct from any employee who is a member of the Union any assessments levied in accordance with the union Constitution and/or Bylaws and owing by the employee to the Union.
