Common use of Chief of Police or Designee Approval Clause in Contracts

Chief of Police or Designee Approval. Prior to enrollment, the employee must receive the written approval of the Chief of Police (the “Chief”) or designee concerning the particular course. The decision of the Chief shall be final. To be approved by the Chief, the Chief must find that the course is job-related after reviewing the request, which briefly describes why the employee believes the course to be job-related.
