Child Health Supervision Services. a. Periodic Physician-delivered or Physician-supervised services from the moment of birth through the end of the month in which a Covered Dependent child turns 19, are covered as follows: i. periodic examinations, which include a history, a physical examination, and a developmental assessment and anticipatory guidance necessary to monitor the normal growth and development of a child; ii. immunizations; and iii. laboratory tests normally performed for a well-child. b. Services must be provided in accordance with prevailing medical standards consistent with the Recommendations for Preventive Pediatric Health Care of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
