Choice of Practitioner. The Contractor must offer each Enrollee a choice of participating MHCPs and/or CDP/CDPTs within the Contractor’s Service Area. 11.9.1. If the Enrollee does not make a choice within 14 business days of being informed, the Contractor or its designee must assign a MHCP and/or CDP/CDPT no later than 14 business days following the request for behavioral health services. 11.9.2. The Contractor must inform the Enrollee that Enrollee may change MHCPs and/or CDPT/CDPT upon request.

Choice of Practitioner. 24 A. Where the employer has notice of an injury and its relationship to the 25 employment, the Department shall offer to the injured employee his or 26 her choice of any physician, chiropractor, dentist, or podiatrist licensed 27 to practice and practicing in the State for treatment of the injury. By 28 mutual agreement the employee may have the choice of any qualified 29 practitioner, not licensed in the State. In case of emergency, the 30 Department may arrange for treatment without tendering a choice. 31 After the emergency has passed, the employee shall be given his or her 1 choice of attending practitioner at the earliest opportunity. The 2 employee has the right to a second choice of attending practitioner on 3 notice to the Risk Management Section. Any further choice shall be 4 by mutual agreement. Partners and clinics are deemed to be one 5 practitioner. Treatment by a practitioner one referral from another 6 practitioner is deemed to be treatment by one practitioner.
